Welcome, Lads and Lasses!
From the lush meadows of its countryside to the cobblestone streets of its cities, there is something to delight the senses everywhere we turn in Ireland!! So journey with us to Emerald Crossing: An Irish Adventure Through Psalm 23! Every stop along our path will teach us about the Good Shepherd and how he cares for his sheep. Like David discovered throughout his life, first as a shepherd and later as a king, we'll discover important truths such as:
- I can be a child of God and have the Lord as my Shepherd;
- I need the Lord to lead me on the right path through his Word;
- I can turn to the Lord for comfort when I'm feeling anxious or afraid;
- I can have an attitude of gratitude in every situation;
- I need to be on the lookout for God's goodness and mercy, my traveling companions through life.
Beauty and adventure awaits as we head out to Emerald Crossing!
We will spend the first four days digging deep into God's Word with the rest of the flock. Then we conclude our VBS on Saturday, where friends and family are all invited to join us for a time of celebration as we recapture all that we've learned!
Each child will receive a take-home bag filled with fun activities and souvenirs as well as a T-shirt for them to wear each day. There will also be lots of fun prizes given throughout the week for our daily Cool Contest winners. The days will be filled with worship, Bible lessons, group games, science activities, crafts, snacks, and lots of outdoor fun (or indoor gym time on those rainier days).
Our program is available for those entering JK to grade 6. Our days will be packed with activity and teaching, so for the younger ones in particular, we highly recommend putting your kids to bed early each night so that they can return to us the next day ready to learn more!
Schedule:
- Tues., Aug. 4th to Fri, Aug. 7th from 9am to 3pm (please arrive no later than 8:45am, as we will start the opening assembly each morning right at 9am sharp!)
- Before care will be offered between 8:15 to 9am for those who require earlier drop-off times from Tuesday to Friday. The last call for breakfast to be served is 8:45am.
- We will also provide plenty of nut-free snacks and lunch is included! (For those who have severe allergies or dietary restrictions, you are also welcome to bring your own food).
- Sat., Aug. 9th from 10am to 11:30am
- On this day, we would like to invite all the families to join us for a time of celebration as we send your children off and conclude the program with an awards assembly, finale slideshow, team photos, and prayer.
Fees:
- $170 per child
- Sibling Discount ($10 off for first sibling's fee; $20 off for second sibling's fee; $40 off for third sibling's fee)
- Example for a family registering 4 children:
- Child #1 costs $170; child #2 costs $160; child #3 costs $150; child #4 costs $130. The total cost for 4 children will be $610 ($170+$160+$150+$130).
Registration will close once we reach capacity. To ensure you get a spot, we always recommend people to register as early as possible.
